Perfect Guide for the Beginners – Logo Design

A great logo design will always convey your message effectively and for it to deliver your message with perfection; it requires great effort and smart use of design elements. Here are a few pointers we have gathered to guide al the beginners out there:

1. A logo should be flexible. A company’s logo design doesn’t just appear on a website, they are used on every marketing medium you use to deliver your plans and offerings. It should work well just as well on a large display as it does on a small banner. You cannot discover logo changes every time it is required to be used on a different medium, so just give it a flexible structure that works almost everywhere.

2. If there is anything that adds life to your logo design it is the font you use in it. Choosing the right font for your logo design requires plenty of time. Nevertheless, time invested in the font selection always pays off.  Fonts can change over all appearance and meaning of your brand name and the right one will always catch attention and will represent appropriate brand purpose.

3. Always start out simple. Create your first logo design in solid black. Once you have the basic structure, you can add variations according to the strategy such as color choice, art work etc. This enable you to present different versions of your logo design to your client ranging from monochrome black  on white, multi colors, single color, with image or without image etc.

4. Use of clip art is to be avoided, if you want your project to be needed. It can be really inexpensive and time saving at the same time but for obvious reason the clip art you just downloaded is being used by someone else as well. It is way better to design a logo from scratch than to use a logo design which is not exclusive but you can always take inspiration from existing designs.

5. Always design your logo in a vector format. It enables you to edit your logo easily where as a pixelated image is far more difficult to alter. A vector logo can be resized without losing its quality.

6. It is not recommended to build your company logo design around you tag line. Taglines tend to change as the company innovates or revamps.

Also, you will thank us if you follow these tricks when starting with your logo design process. Please give your feedback about the provided information; we will love to hear from you.
